Second Visit to Burzynski Clinic
Yesterday I met with Dr. Burzynski and two other doctors. He’s very knowledgeable. They wanted to do some gene blood work to find if I had a certain gene that they would know exactly how to target for a 100% cure rate. The blood work tests are extremely expensive and they are the fist step to determining exactly which drugs I would need to take. However, when we discussed the costs and payment plan with their financial director we discovered that they only take cash up front, no payment plan. We were told to get started we need $30,000 upfront plus a budget of $5,000 per month medications and followup, plus additional expenses for scans and ongoing tests. The entire treatment over a year could run as much as $100,000. There is no sense paying for part of the treatment if we don’t have the resources to pay for the entire treatment. Therefore, we left without beginning treatement and will have to revisit this option later. In the meantime I will continue with my other treatments (grape seed extract, baking soda, healthy eating, etc. )
