< go to Blog Posted on January 25, 2012 by admin UPDATE – Kim’s Treatment at The Burzynski Clinic We’ve been trying to schedule an appointment for the Burzynski Clinic since last week but before they would schedule Kim in, the doctors had to review all the medical records first and there was one missing pathology report that we had to track down and get to them as well. We got a call this morning from Sonnet Minniefield, patient coordinator at The Burzynski Clinic. She said that the doctors reviewed Kim’s medical records yesterday but now they need CBC and CMP complete blood panels to review before scheduling the appointment. We were told as long the blood work is in normal range then Kim would definitely be a good candidate for treatment. We’re going to Marina Medical to get the blood drawn and the tests should be back tomorrow. We expect that Sonnet will be calling us by Friday with an appointment date (hopefully). Therefore, according to Sonnet the tentative appointment date would now be between the 1st and the 8th of February. Meanwhile, Kim is loading up on vitamins and fresh organic juicing. She’s having trouble swallowing pills so she’s going to Marina Medical for intravenous high dose vitamin C (they put a good mix of vitamins in the cocktail as well). We’re also continuing Tuesday night prayer meetings for Kim until she is declared cured (or remission as the doctors say). |
